Whirlwind

Day 11/30: She made a poor job of hiding the damage.

Adam entered his apartment to find trash littered all over the floor, strewn everywhere from the front door to his bed. Torn stuffing and cloth from his thirty-dollar Salvation Army couch sat in disorganized piles across the living area, like three-day-old snow.

His laundry didn't escape the whirlwind of destruction, either. Further investigation proved that his hamper'd been tipped over. Half of his socks were missing, his favorite dress shirt was missing a cuff.

His corgi, Maru, sat in the corner of his bedroom, ears down in shame, studiously avoiding eye contact with her owner.

"Maru... did you do this?"

She did a poor job of hiding the damage.
